Important Dates
Photography by Thursday 2nd April 2026
- Entry forms can be submitted online – Please contact us if you need a hard copy entry form or emailed form.
- Late applications may not be accepted. Alterations to applications cannot be made after the closing date.
- The total number of entries for each age category is 6 photos – 2 in each section
- There are three age categories. Kinder/Primary, Secondary and Adult/Open
- Mounted photos must be submitted no later than Friday 10th April 2026 to “The Mud Gallery”, Gray St, Hamilton, The Bridge Cafe Cavendish or other arrangements can be made by contacting us.
- Photos can be collected from 12noon-2pm on Sunday 19th April from the Red Gum Gallery or from The Mud Gallery Hamilton following this day.
Photo Specifications:
Photos must be 8″ x 10″ (203mm x 254mm) and mounted on FIRM black or white cardboard with no more than 2cm mount. NOT FRAMED
Panoramic photos can be entered in each section. No bigger than A4 wide mounted
Photos must be clearly labelled on the back with:
- Full name
- Age category Kinder/Primary, Secondary or Adult/Open
- PLUS section 1,2 or 3.
There is to be no writing on the front of the photo.
Works will be displayed on movable partitions, walls of the venue or freestanding easels. The venue is unable to provide special lighting
