2024 Student gallery

Budding artists, from Kinder -Year 12 are invited to enter works depicting or relating to the Red Gum and its environment.
SECTIONS:
1. 2D artworks, painting, drawing, collage etc.
2. Small Indoor Sculpture.
Prizes in each category for each age group.

ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS:
1. All works must be no bigger than A3 in size.
2. Works (painting/drawing/collage etc.) must be mounted on board/thick cardboard (no heavy picture frames please)
3. Small indoor sculptures should be freestanding and stable (to be displayed on plinths) and no bigger than a shoe box.
4. Works should be labelled ON THE BACK or underneath for sculptures, with students full name, age and school/group if applicable.
5. Students FIRST NAME ONLY should be on the front of the artwork or sculpture. This is so visitors coming to see particular student artwork can find it.
6. School groups and multiple artists can be submitted on one form.
7. Entries must be the original work of the artist.
8. Late applications may not be accepted. Alterations to applications cannot be made after the closing date.
9. Artists must ensure that all packaging, wrapping or carry bags used for artwork is clearly labelled with a name and contact details.
KEY DATES
ENTRY FORMS DUE: Friday 15th March
ARTWORKS DELIVERED: Thursday 11th April 9am- 12pm
All Artworks must be received at the Cavendish Soldiers Memorial Hall.

ARTWORK COLLECTION: Sunday April 14th, 11am-3pm 2024 unless alternative arrangements have been made.
