Sunday Environmental BUs tour
Please note: There will be some walking required through paddocks etc.
Participants will have the chance to climb Mount Cavendish if interested.
Wattle Park & Mt Cavendish
8:15am, for an 8:30 departure.
$15 includes morning tea and a drink.
DEPARTURE: Cavendish public carpark – Opposite Soldiers Memorial Hall
9am – 11:00 Anna and Jarrod Sweeney’s “Wattle Park”.
Exploring the Sweeney’s execution of whole farm planning and holistic grazing management. Departing at 11am.
11:15 – Amenities break in Cavendish
11:30 – James and Jodie Young at “Eulong”,
Looking at and hearing about the history Mt Cavendish. There will be a light snack provided and we will hear from speakers:

Bill Weatherly – Farmer, ecologist , president & founding member Friends of the Forgotten Woodlands &
Paul Callander – Retired geologist, President Penshurst volcano discovery centre.
1:00pm – Return to Cavendish.
