Yoga Workshop with Frank Jesse- Griffins Hill Yoga

Frank Jesse has spent more than 40,000 hours teaching over the past 27 years. He is one of the very few Australian teachers to attain Senior Teacher status in Iyengar Yoga. Frank is renowned for his warm and humorous teaching style and his ability to cater to the differing needs of individual students, who range widely in age and experience with yoga. Redgum Photography with Georgie Mann

Join professional photographer Georgie Mann for a relaxed, one-hour photography workshop set among the magnificent redgums of Cavendish. Designed for enthusiast photographers of all skill levels, this guided walk-and-shoot session will explore how to see and photograph trees in both their wider landscape and their finer details. Participants will focus on reading light, working with shadow and texture, and finding strong compositions - from sweeping scenes to intimate bark, form and pattern. Bring any camera - DSLR, mirrorless or phone - and learn practical, creative techniques you can use anywhere you photograph nature. 9-10am Settlers Cottage

Cath Freemantle is a Ballarat Based florist and Artist. All her life Cath has been creating; painting, floristry, gardening and sculpture. Her passion revolves around plants and what they bring to us. Join Cath to learn the art of flower arranging with gorgeous blooms provided by the wonderful local gardners of Cavendish *Ticket includes all materials. Wood Carving Workshop with Eli from 'Wedge and Edge'

Eli Beke is a master craftsman and facilitator known for his expertise in woodworking and his unique ability to inspire creativity in others. Eli’s approach to woodworking is influenced by Swedish and Japanese traditions, combining traditional techniques with modern innovations to create pieces that are both timeless and functional. As the founder of Wedge and Edge Studio, Eli is dedicated to creating compelling and practical handcrafted objects that enrich the lives of those who use them. Printing with Redgum leaves with Britt Gow

Britt Gow is a printmaker and art educator from Western Victoria, her work is primarily focused on the patterns and textures found in nature. Britt will host two workshops, one on monoprinting - a spontaneous and somewhat unpredictable process that can be easily achieved at home, without specialised equipment, and one on Iron/Tannin Printing with Redgum leaves - when botanical specimens are sandwiched between paper or fabric and put under high pressure. Two sessions: 10.30am & 1pm.

Native Bird Drawing Class (8-15 year olds) with Katherine Hunter

Katherine Hunter is a pencil artist from the Southern Grampians town of Hamilton, Victoria who won the People's Choice award at the 2022 festival. With a love of animals, her artwork primarily focuses on capturing beloved pets, as well as Australian native fauna—particularly birds. Her medium of choice is coloured pencils, which she uses to create works in a “rough realistic” style. Learn to draw beautiful native birds using coloured pencils under Katherine's careful guidance. *Ticket includes all materials. Two sessions, Session 1: 11.30am, Session 2: 2.30pm.
